Constitution of The Kingdom of Kallos

    I, King Trent established this Constitution to ensure the rights of the people, function of Government, and authority of the Crown. 
Kallos was officially established on October 9th, 2014 by King Trent Jensen. 


Article 1: The Crown

I. The Crown of Kallos is represented by our Sovereign

II. Our Sovereign is to be in direct lineage of King Trent of the Royal House of Jensen

III. The Sovereign has the authority to announce their Heir

IV. The Sovereign of Kallos shall be titled as either King or Queen

V. The Senior most Heir to the Crown is to be referred to as Crown Prince or Princess

VI. Spouse of the Sovereign is to be titled as Prince or Queen and have no legal power

 
VII. If the Heir to the Crown cannot or does not want to take the position, the next senior most Heir shall take the position 

VIII. The Sovereign has full executive power, final judicial powers, and the authority to create, propose, amend, or approve any law

IX. The Sovereign has full authority over granting Citizenship, Nationality, or titles of Nobility

Article 2: Function of Government 

I. The Sovereign is Head of State and Commander in Chief of the Kallosian Militia

II. Judges are appointed by the Sovereign 

III. The Kallosian Supreme Court is to be headed by the Sovereign 

IV. The National Church of Kallos is a Christian Church based on the teachings of Jesus Christ and his disciples. The Church is to be in the mainline protestant tradition

   Article 3: Rights of the People

I. The Crown shall not make any laws restricting citizens of the freedom of speech, religion, the media, or of the right to peacefully assemble

II. With a well regulated Militia being crucial to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms

III. The right of the people to deny any unreasonable search of their person, papers, homes, etc. without a warrant or justifiable cause

IV. The right of the people to a fair, fast, and public trial by their peers

V. The right of the people to public education

VI. Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude shall exist within any Kallosian Territory 

VII. The right of people to vote, join the militia, age of consent, and age for government appointed offices shall be upon the age of 18

VIII. The freedom of marriage to any two consenting adults of any gender shall not be infringed

IX. No cruel or unusual punishment or treatment nor excise bail shall be permitted
